Our House is on Fire

Today will be another of my Power of Positivity posts. When I decided to put more emphasis on positive things that I see in the world, this was one of the first topics that came to mind.

By now, most of you have probably heard about Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish girl who is rallying the world to the crisis of climate change. I would even tend to say that crisis is too soft of a word to use when dealing with climate change. Imminent threat would be more appropriate.

Fat Shaming

Rants. Rants. More Rants.

It seems as though everywhere you turn these days, someone is ranting about something. Talking heads ranting about this or that on the “news”, talk show hosts giving a diatribe about something, even entire TV series devoted to delivering well scripted (and often humorous) rants (I’m looking at you John Oliver and Hassan Minhaj). And with the spread of social media and podcasts, everyone seems to have a voice in this noise storm. I suppose you could almost say this is my rant against rants.
